Public Apology

It has come to my attention that Bruce Chandley of Podcast Bunker was offended by some of my comments here. So I want to put two things out there in the podosphere:


  1. An open apology
    Bruce;
    I apologize for any offense my comments may have given. It was not my intent to offend you or to belittle your work or your site. I like Podcast Bunker, as I previously noted, and I think it's a valuable resource for the podcasting community.

  2. A clarification
    By no means did I intend to communicate that The New New Podcast Review is better than The Podcast Bunker in any way, nor did I intend to indicate that my potential approach to excerpting podcasts would be superior to Bruce's. My only intent was to communicate that I think the two sites are substantially different and would require a different approach to the subject of podcast excerpts, and to point readers that might be viewing my questions to a place that had a similar feature to the one I was dicussing.


I hope this will clarify matters, and I once again offer my apologies to Bruce.
